Ugh I really hope not. Asside from looks, items should all have the same stats for PvP. The people who say "But why bother PvPing if you don't get rewarded with better gear?" are not pvpers... They are pve players who want their items to do the work for them. A true pvper doesn't care about item stats. They learn their characters, become better players and rely on their skill to overcome their enemies. They do not rely on items as a crutch. If the PvP in TESO is faction based, where the goal is to conquer the zone and become emperor, I don't see the need to give players stat advantages as a carrot. If the gameplay is fun, we don't need higher numbers on our items to be the hook. Age of conan started out on the right path, but all that changed when they wow-ified the itemization, giving a distinct advantage to players with better items. The pvpers left by the tens of thousands.
