Per MONTH? Well, that is entirely dependent on how much you play, as well as the game you play. Some games transmit more data than others. Some games have large packets sent back and forth, such as an online MMO or FPS game that has many many people, and other games have much less because of the small amount of date being sent.

Are you browsing the web on the dashboard?

Are you watching Netflix?

Are you watching Youtube videos?

Are you hardcoe gaming it up on Halo 4 for 5 hours a day?

All of those factors contribute to the WIDE array of possible answers to that query.

So, answering that question is extremely hard to do really.

I personally used to have an Xbox and gamed quite a bit, and I really can't say either way. All I can say is that it doesn't really cause a huge bandwidth hit for other users using the internet, as it doesn't hog while you're playing. But as far as the data size over a month, I don't think anyone could ever possibly answer that question.

Asking how much data Xbox Live uses is akin to asking "How much data does Youtube use per month?" Well, how much do you use it? That could be 100 MB or 100 GB.

like he said, it depends on what you're using it for.
Simply having XBL doesn't use any bandwidth, i don't believe. maybe a very small packet here and there, if you have friends popping online and whatnot.

What are you planning on getting XBL for?

Better yet, use one of those free 48hr passes and see what that uses.

I think your sister is just being difficult. My house doesnt have the top of the line internet speeds and no one can tell the difference while im online with it. I watch a lot of NetFlix as well.

Edit..... im actually watching Train Spotting through NetFlix on Xbox and using my lap top and there is no noticeable differences.

Also, you could simply pay her some extra cash every month and upgrade you internet.
