How often do full moons occur? : V

I was deciding on transforming as a werewolf once a week at night, or on a full moon. How often do they occur?
I could just look at the sky every ingame night, but I just want to know when they should come out. Is it once a month or something quicker?

I think it's just random, sometimes I see nothing and other times I see as much as two moons.

doesn't nirn have like 2 moons or something?
whenever I look up at the sky there's 2 planets that seem to be orbiting the planet

so i'm not sure how the whole full moon thing would work
