I did a quest for the DB and somehow got a 40 bounty on me in Haafingar.

Problem is whenever i go to this region, the guards attack me on sight, so how can i pay it off? I tried putting my weapon away and speaking to them, but doent work. Any ideas?

Well i reakon it would be awsome if you stayed in Haafingar and slowely killed off the guards who were chasing you.

the bounty system is a bit broken.

kill every witness during the quest or crime.

as far as knowing the when, where, who and how of your supposed "crime" ? i do not know.

kill all witnesses, lol.

This happens to me sometimes. The only way I fix it is by trying to fast travel to somewhere where the guards will attempt the arrest. Good luck

Fast travelled away and came back, seemed to sort it, allowed me to pay it off

Love to know what i did to get the bounty. I certainly didnt get the message appear
