How to remove the legal notices and go straight to the 'Star

So if you're like me then you also probably get annoyed by all the legal notices when the game loads. This is what you do in order to remove them from the game.
  • Find your game directory. If you're on steam then you'll be able to find it by going to your Steam folder then navigating to steamapps>common>Dishonored.
  • In the game folder go to DishonoredGame>Movies.
  • Change the extension of the following files from .bik to .bak: Legal, LogoArkane, LogoBethesda, UE3_logo, ZenimaxLegal, ZenimaxLegalFR.
  • Another way is to create a New Folder and moving the above files there.
Enjoy.

Yes, thank you. You'd think companies would actually learn to make those things skippable by now. Thank god Borderlands 2 did it.

You'd think. Witcher 2 has damn well near 7 legal notice screens. Thankfully all UE games use the same file structure so you'll always find those pesky legal notices at the same spot.

Yeah it's a good thing most developers don't lock the .ini files and people can actually edit out things they don't like.
