Make a new character. Or maybe there are some console commands, but I highly doubt it.

Don't think theres a way to reset it.

Why would you want to do so anyways? Why not just retire this character and
try creating a brand new one to try completely different playstyles.

I want to reset only the main quest, not to reset all

I searched and didn't found any commands to reset any quest ....

You can't go backwards in quests. Sorry, to play the MQ again, you're gonna have to start a new character.

As far as I know, console commands only allow to move the quest forward, not backward. Reseting MQ might be entirely impossible withour creating a new character.

Want to reset the MQ? Start a new game.

There is no way to reset quests in Skyrim through the console. You can only progress them forward; not backward.

Maybe there is the way, somewhere in the "save" file, or some console command, or just something ! T_T !

No. That doesn't make sense. There is no "undo" function. Once something is done, it's done. Resetting the main quest would be as much work as making the main quest, you would have to do everything in reverse.

Or just make a new character and use console commands to restore your power after the tutorial.

Imagine the logistics that would be involved.

Every NPC involved in the main quest would have to be reset to their original positions, every script reset, every item reset, changes to the world reset. Theres just to much scope for breaking something.....at which point anyone that used the console to reset a quest (If it were possible) would then be on these forums raging about bugs caused by something THEY did.

If some one don't know how to reset the Main Quest line, this doesn't means that is not possible,

So let me up this thread, there must be something !

No there mustn't.

You've already been told why this is physically impossible. If you were able to reset the main quest, the game would have to reset every item, NPC, dragon, shout, discovered location, etc. that was involved in the main quest.

And I'm still not sure why you want to do this in the first place. There's absolutely no point.

It has never been possible in any previous Elderscrolls game, it is logically and logistically impossible. The only thing you could do, is delete all data from the save file, except the character specific information you want to keep, and then it will load the .esm file without anything that was in the save prior.

The time it took to read and bump this thread could have been spent sitting through the tutorial and then only doing the MQ :P

Let it go. It's not possible. You can't restart quests, especially not one such as the main quest, because it would completely screw everything up. Mobs for the MQ would already be dead. Items for the MQ would already have been obtained. Nothing would work the way it did the first time. Stop being stubborn and just accept that you'll have to make a new character if you want to go through the main quest again. If there was a way, we would know about it. There isn't.
