How do I sprint?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 4:55 am

I've seen sprinting mentioned often enough that now I'm curious. How do you do it? Some special combination of buttons (PC) or an ability, or what? Am I just reading into it more than there is, and everyone is just talking about ordinary running?

Hint - you can also go to the main menu (ESC key on PC) and look under the Controls section in the System tab to see what the control settings are, and change them if you want.

I changed my sprint key to Shift, and Sneak to Ctrl. Just makes more sense to me.

Shout is mouse wheel.

Weird.

Left trigger controls the left hand. Shield / 1H or 2H weapon blocking, or swing dual-wield weapon / casting spell in left hand.
So no, not weird. For an Xbox player anyway.

I have an Xbox - I wasn't insulting Xbox players. I think it's weird that since the PS3 and Xbox controllers are so similar all the control functions weren't mapped to the same buttons.

It's the wierdest thing. In any cross-console game the shoulder buttons are almost always flipped like that.
