how to test....

I am working on my mod, but how to test with making a new char for every time I make a change? It seems to only work with new chars, not updates to the esp files.

If I have understood you correctly, you don't need a new character, you need a clean savegame - i.e. a save from a game with no mods loaded.

It depends on what kind of mod you're making. If you really need to start fresh with each update then doing a clean save (disable mod, start game, save game, exit game, activate mod again) should work and is probably the easiest way. Is it a race mod?

yes, i am changing a value on the race. This bug is kicking my butt and becoming discourage...

Well, what I did to use for my testing is start a new game that is 100% vanilla – no mods. I even named it NO MODS so I know what it’s for, lol. I finish the opening of the game all the way through Helgen Keep, and out through the caves you escape through. Then, BEFORE I exit the cave, I make a new save, and also make a backup of it in cade I accidentally delete it sometime.

Then, when I need to test something new, I simply load that save, exit the cave and wait a moment for Unbound to finish, and proceed on to test whatever I need to test. That way you have a clean save at the beginning of the game you can test from to your heart’s content.
