How to wield?

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 7:32 am

Yesterday i killed a chicken and i got attacked by some civilians.. at first i laughed because most of them where redguards.. after my 15minuts of lulz i resumed the game and tried to ask for a yield.. or wield whatever its called..
If my memory corrects me right (which it probably wont after so much n2o) you just pressed shield button and then "E" it was? then they would stop attacking you or they wouldn't.

Whats the option for that in this game?

That was the way in oblivion. According to the manual you only need to sheath your weapon in Skyrim, haven't had to try it yet though.

It's called yielding (wielding is using a weapon or tool).

One of the random tips that appears is "Guards may stop attacking you if you put your weapons away". I have not found this to be the case!
