Hi i have been trying to win dusty 8 race but been haveing lots of probblamsgeting first place, im useing pc controls for the car and thay r very hard to control the dame car. it says u can use the mutant bash to win the race can soom 1 give me a pointer plz.

drive fast. use the bash (like a large blue wave of destruction) when anything gets in front.

If you play all the races you'll learn the tracks and it will be easy.

Not sure on how accurate this is but in the Rage game guide it says the pc controls for driving are not good and that a controller is the way to go.

Controls probably aren't as good as thumbstick control driving, but it's pretty easy once you learned how your car reacts to a certain button being pressed...

I won all the races in the game with no deployable tools. The only hard ones were a few rally races at Subway Town that had a very odd pattern of rally points. Even those aren't too hard though once you know which direction you have to head to chain the rally points together.

What's most annoying for me in the racing is on those few rally races I spoke of, the fixed camera angle can make it hard to see the opponents and rally points when changing direction, but again it's only like that until you know the patter the rally points appear in.

I DID happen to find a cvar that looks to be one for enabling free camera view (pm_vehicleFreeCam), but I could not get it to work for mouse look.
