How WOULD You Slay a Dragon?

Post » Sat Mar 02, 2013 8:02 am

Skyrim aside, how in the world WOULD you slay a dragon? I mean, one fire-breath and you're dead - not much you can do. And don't think "Oh I can get behind something" cause you'll have to face the dragon sooner or later, and I doubt you could face him.

So how in the hell...

Use anti aircraft guns and anti aircraft missiles. Heat seaking missile could do for fire breathing kind I think

if your carrying a shield you can put the shield in front of your face then as soon as the dragon stops breathing fire swing your sword at it then cut its head of and take it as a trophy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrilla_warfare :tops: You do use cover to avoid being fried but you would want to harass it as much as you can, picking away at it until it dies. Better then facing it head on :flamed: IMO, don't really want to become a fried critter  But most likely the dragon would win a one on one encounter, numbers would be the key overwhelm it with guerrilla tactics and numbers.Try your best to have multiple targets for it to focus on and just pick away at it.

Find his drinking trail, dig a hole, hide in the hole with a sharp blade, and wait until he slithers over. At the right moment, I will stab his fleshy underbelly, and then eat his heart to gain his knowledge. With my new knowledge, I'll overhear birds talking about how my master is a traitor. I will then kill my master and proceed to become the greatest hero in all of Scandinavia!

Shoot/puncture its eyes out then deal the finishing blow when it gets weaker from the blood loss.

Can you specifics on what can't be used? I mean are you saying fantasy or real life? current tech or reduced tech? Be clear.

Lead it out to an open field, near a medium-density forest. Once it decides to land, cripple its wings by slicing the skin flaps in two. Then lead it into the forest.

It'll be too big to move well, and it can't fly. Sitting duck for a fast Dovahkiin.

Personally I would grab a wooden plank with a nail in the end of it and smash the plank of the Dragons head :P

Simple as that ....

AND don't forget to consume its soul at the end :)
