The "controls" section of the options (which apparently can only be accessed when in game, not from the menu) does not have any way of changing the button/key layout, at least that I could find. BTW, I found all the menus very difficult and uncomfortable to navigate, not just in the options menu, also in the character creation section.
Is it possible? How?

You just click on which control you want to change, then it will tell you to press the button you want to change it to. At least that's how it worked for me.

Though if you are going to change it be aware that your game is going to get kinda wonky (telling you the original buttons to use rather than the remapped button, ect.)

Where exactly do you go to do that?
