How do you get Vampire hood? and if you joined dawnguard can you still be vampire lord?

I don't think you can get it if you are a vampire-you have to loot it off other vamps. And you can become a VL if you were in the Dawnguard by asking Sarana to turn you into one.

If your on the side of the Dawnguard and you accept Serena's gift will the Dawnguard people try to kill you.

and i dont think there is a Vampire hood....it looks alot like the guild master hood you get for doing all the theives guild radiant quests. and like Lord Harkon said if you become a Vampire Lord the Dawnguard will try and kill you.

There IS a vampire hood; I've seen it a few times on the vampire in the Jarl of Riften's house in the Dawnguard side missions from Isran.
