I have looked around the net and flipped through the book, but I just cannot seem to figure it out. I am sure it is very simple.

On the PC how do you go about moving objects like books and such?

to move objects around press and hold your 'interaction' key

i changed mine to spacebar

press it again to let go of whatever youre holding


i believe it was the 'e' key by default

Wait- would this be the same on console? I honestly thought they had removed this feature.

Yeah, but it's "A" on the X-box. Not sure about the PS3.

The problem is, is that my interaction key seems to also pick up objects instead of simply moving them around. So I look at an object and press E. It just picks it up into my inventory.

You have to press and HOLD "E"

Works for me.

Oh press and hold. Will give that a try.
