So I previously created a post a few days ago on advice, but im still very interested on how you guys play your battlemage? Do you go for melee with destruction and heavy armour, or do you go for melee with alteration etc?

I would love to know how oyu play this style of character?

I currently play heavy armour with destruction and 1h
mixing between the two attack methods as i need to when magika runs out or alternativly if fatigue is low!

I just decided to start anew with a battlemage character. With perks heavily invested into the conjuration tree for bound weapons, restoration tree for healing and alteration tree for defensive magic. No destruction perks for me.

Other points will go mainly into light armor and one handed weapon with a few into smithing. I'd put some points into enchantment for flavour but I don't think I will have any points left for that.

I think it will be fun, and if I don't have a bound weapon up I'll have a free hand to cast other spells.

I just blast things, if its not dead yet, I blast it again...
Quite simple, I only use weapons when my magicka is gone from blasting stuff
