Unfortunately apart from hiring a few extra people, you dont seem to be able to. It seems this feature is missing.

Yeah in terms of player homes..siding with the Vampires is the better option.

A very fancy actual Castle rather than the Dawnguards dusty..cobweb infested Fort.

I don't think there is anyway to possibly make the Vampire castle look any better to be honest (its already the best looking home..excluding the human cattle laid out on the dining tables with Vampires sinking their fangs into them feeding as you walk in) though you can get the path to the Garden fixed if you talk to one of the dark elf vampires.

They delivered on everything promised but the upgradeable homes...didn't know that was such a massive DLC maker or breaker.

The garden is actually good for alchemist/poisoner characters.

He said tricked out, tricked out =/= upgradable.

There plenty of display cases and weapon racks so you can technically trick them out.

Well like you said it's a dlc not an expansion if this was an expansion I would of been VERY mad at bethesda but this was a way better dlc then any past ones bethesda has made but you think they would of atleast added on A mannequin at least one.

You don't know how angry I was, I did almost all the Dawnguard missions and didn't know I had to take the armor off that mannequin or talk to the Nord guy to get the armor set, you can only imagine the rage that built up when I finally explored the fort in detail..and theres a obstacle course in the Fort if you didn't know.

The downfalls dont make up for the upgrades you can enchant the gargoyle necklace other then that not much.

WHERE?!?!?!
If I recall it was in the far left of the fort on the ground floor, there was a crossbow on a table if I recall near it, its was called something cavern, I remember there being archery targets in a half circle and it being to the right of it.

Either that or its on the far right of the fort on the bottom floor.

Personally I enjoyed the Vampire side more..a nice epic Castle and artifacts that super buff my charcter.

+100 HP and +20 claw damage in Vampire form..and normal form if you're a Khajit, +HP counts either way in normal form don't gotta be Khajit.

and a ring that gives +100 magicka and magicka regen?

Well worth it, I need to find a better necklace though..the bats is kinda useless now that I have night shroud in VL form.

Makes sense Bethesda gave the Vampires super buffs..I mean the Dawnguard get the strongest bow in the game..gotta have something as good.

Er forgot about the awesome rings and the cup of blood buff and you are correct the castle is much better then dawnguards from what I've seen still seems to me that the vampires are more for mages.

Vampires are more for the sneaking and mage characters or well Nightblade in other words.

Dawnguard are for the sword and shield characters or the two handed characters or even the archer characters.

WHERE?!?!?!
Dead Drop Falls. The entrance is in the cave like area on the right side of Fort (not where the trolls and forge are), there will be a pen with 2 armored huskies in it and archery targets. A hole in the wall is the entrance.
