There's no mentioning of the button in options, and I kinda need to zoom in on this particular item to solve a quest.

Or did Bethesda just reserve that feature for consoles?

I've seen this issue from a few others. Head over to PC support, and see if they figured it out.

It would seem those days are over.

left click and move the mouse to rotate the thing, and I guess mouse wheel to zoom in. Havn't actually tried zooming yet.

Shouldn't it be the same as your character in the menus in oblivion?

That doesn't do anything. I've also tried scrolling the mouse wheel to no effect.

Anyone got any ideas?

+1 same bug how to fix ?

i know that on PS3 its R3 which is the change view from third person to first and back and forth so try the same button you would use for that.
