I have a big problem with Skyrim today. I play on the PC and when it loaded, there were no crosshairs or dialogue on the screen. I tried reloading it, even rebooted the computer but the problem remains. I checked the settings and neither the crosshairs nor the dialogue have been disabled...Can anyone help me?

Delete the 2 ini files in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim, called Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini.

Launch the game, set your graphics options, and play, see if it's fixed

I play on my son's computer because mine does not have the power to run the game..I called him at work, because he was the last one playing and ...DUH...He lowered the opacity in order to take some screen shots and forgot to "put things back the way he found them"!
But I am keeping a file on fixes and yours is certainly being added to it...Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? AND I AM VERY VERY OLD!
