Say humanity were to escape extinction and live on, what do you think we'll be like?
Here's another question: do you think we'll be extinct because we evolve into something else?

In the words of the late Richard Pryor "I don't give a [censored]."
There are so many different possibilities and unpredictable revelations its impossible to even speculate. One thing I'll say is I think a more evolved being will come from us, and the "humans" we are now will either grow extinct or go way down on the food chain.
More likely we'll be extinct because we mess up the planet.
Yes, they'll be called robots.
I foresee a heavy reliance on technology. So much so that we, as a race, would be useless without it.
Picture the Borg. The reason behind this is that I don't see us changing our ways ever. This means that the planet will be dead (basically) and the only way we survive is by embracing a number of advanced technologies.
Biologically, I think evolution has also failed us. Mates are seldom selected for advantageous traits, but rather appearance and if they have money/power. So the only way to progres as a species is via the use of technology.
But that's just my belief. I you wanted to know what I think humanity from a societal point would be, I would point to 1984.
