Humon shout-voice as elf

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 11:24 am

So as we all know there are a couple of different shout voices in the game. Humans, Elfs, Orcs, Khajiit and Argonian. I'm a Dunmer, but I really like the human voice a lot better. It kind of feels like it has a lot more power to it.
So I was wondering if someone could make a mod for this, or maybe there already is?

Thanks:D

Extract the human dragon shouts, rename them to the dunmer shouts.

I use a mod that changes two of the shouts to the Draugr Shouts., because Fus Ro Dah sounds better when the Draugr do it.

Would you care to elaborate a bit? :)
What exactly do you mean by exctracting the human dragon shouts?

Well, you would extract the shouts from the Voices.Bsa, and if you want the Human Male shouts, I'm thinking that it would be the
sound\voice\skyrim.esm\maleeventoned\voicepowers_shout01_23746423.fuz (made up the numbers in the file, the files are named like voicepowers_shout01_"numbers".fuz, voicepowers_shout03a_"numbers".fuz)

You'd have to extract those, and rename each one to the same file name that the dunmer use.
(It'd be nice if the shouts were named for the shout and word they were....)

That's the very very very basics of it, being able to play each file and hear each shout so you knew which each file was would require converting the fuz to wma (IIRC),

Ok, thanks. Where do I put the files, after I've extracted and renamed them? Seeing as they won't be in the .bsa archive anymore?

They'll extract to Data\sound\voice\skyrim.esm\maleeventoned\
so you'd have to create a folder (Since it's dunmer) I'm going to assume Data\sound\voice\skyrim.esm\maleelfhaughty\

I think I'm going to play around with the "dragon" dragon shouts shouts and see if I can use them for my character, if I'm shouting like a dragon, I should sound like one too ;)
