Especially after seeing the fantastic first person combat, and that CHAIN move. Reminded me of Mortal Combat...He just pulled the enemy right over to him, it was so epic. I wonder if that's a magic spell or some sort of tank/aggro ability...

Sounds like tanking/agro abilities will be in the sword and board skill tree. It may generate slight agro but I doubt it will make them stick for long.
It seems like a great way to pull enemies over, I wonder if they will allow some sort of upgrade to do more than one at a time, and how an ability like that would work against a player. If they have a lot of cool looking powers like that, this game is already going to have a leg up over other MMOs, between the graphics and awesome looking weapons/armor and hopefully cool combat animations. The more I see the more I'm dying to play. First game I enjoy paying 15 bucks a month for? Cant wait for the day 1 buy...
Thank you Super excited to be a part of this community!
Yep, when I saw that FPV, I [censored] my pants. I keep forgetting that this isn't TES: The WoW clone and is ESO: the TES/MMO hybrid. A lockpicking minigame + items you can pick up in a TES-like manner never struck me as something that would be in this game. They;ve got themselves a fine MMO, and if it keeps getting better before launch, I have no doubt I will play the hell out of it. So many great MMO coming to NA this year.. good thing I actually have money to spend.
Welcome. Just got here myself.
I'm super excited myself... hoping to hang my hat in ESO and call it home for a while. I hope it shapes up to be better that the last 8 or 9 MMO's I've tried.
Am I the only one confused about the lock picking minigame? In oblivion they had to go all the way down, in here they seem to hit random degrees of how low the spring goes, is the player making them only go so far down or are they all just graphically preset to not actually be pushed all the way to the bottom and its actually the exact same minigame?
I think they were just showing the mini-game. I'm positive that you have to actually push the pins all the way down like you had to do in Oblivion (which was actually up though).
Welcome Josh, I think the recent videos have gotten a lot of us very excited.
I really HOPE the minigame requires you to put the pins in certain places. That's a lot more realistic and interesting than Oblivion's version.
Its an abiliy for the Dragonknight class.
That sounds awesome. Dragonknight I'm going to assume is some sort of paladin like class? Wish I knew more info about the classes, wasnt even aware that stuff had been released yet!

Some light reading you can do to learn more about the game and a bit about the Dragon Knight.
You're the best, look like a fantastic site for me to roll around in
Yep, they do a very good job for being a fan-run site. They are really good at keeping their information up-to-date. But, there are a few things in there that are a bit out-of-date that they should fix, but it's really not all that big of a deal though.
I remember in one of the first hands on video they talked about using this ability, had / has no agro effect on it but it does stun the mob for a duration after it has been pulled to the dragon knight, so you could use it as a very helpful tanking tool.
Btw I am ridiculously hyped for this game
