Hypothetical: You do something wrong, get caught (& it's

...what do you do? Admit your crimes/stupidity? Or deny deny deny?

I've been watching a show called "Mystery Diners" on the Food Network. Seems some people, even seeing themselves recorded doing the wrong, continue to deny it.......why? It's there for all to see. You just look like a fool denying or trying to spin it in a different light. (Side note: None of these episodes actually bring in the police. They simply dismiss them.)

Then there is a somewhat local legal case concerning the Vancouver Stanley Cup riot. They caught this guy on camera breaking windows. (110 others confessed straight away.) What's his excuse? He doesn't remember even doing it "because he was so drunk"......and? What, is he trying to say to be alleviated of any guilt, one need just get s*** faced before doing their crime/stupidity??

Man up! You chose to drink to the point of stupidity, own your actions man! Geez.

Frankly, (Hope I don't cross a line here but...) I have had issues in the past (pretty minor) and once I was caught, I fessed up. I knew I was wrong/guilty/stupid so I didn't bother wasting anyone's time trying to fight it and plead guilty.

Who do these people think they are going to fool? Are they really that thick?

So, would you embarrass yourself by trying to deny the recorded footage or using (what to me is) a weak a** defence that is laughable at best IMO, or would you be man/woman enough to fess up and take whats coming?
