I was plumbing a dungeon (I forget which one) and when I came out, returned to a city, and zoomed out to third person view I was shocked to see that my Argonian had contracted a bad case of icicle head. There's just this gigantic chunk of what appears to be ice sticking out of the back of his head and try as I might I can't get rid of it. At first I thought maybe it was supposed to be there - maybe I had spent too much time in the cold, maybe an Ice Atronach had cast a spell on me, maybe I was diseased. But after trying everything I could possible think of - potions, temple heals, outfit changes - it seems my character is permanently afflicted with this ugly glitch. Is is a glitch? Normally I wouldn't mind because the icicle-looking thing doesn't affect my gameplay and I can't see it when I'm playing in first person view. But occasionally I like to zoom out to third person to get a good look at my character amidst the gorgeous scenery and when I do, this glitch just makes me groan. Ugly, ugly, ugly, and I'm probably gonna have to start a new game to fix it. I've provided some pictures of the affliction - does anyone know what the hell is going on?

Get hit by a arrow , or another icicle your choice really.
So just go find a bandit camp and get hit by a few arrows,
edit: Forgot, get hit in first person!

Tried to get hit in first person and nothing happened. However, I happened upon a vagrant inside the Ratway in Riften and he shot me full of arrows. Miracle upon miracles, it worked!
