Is the ingredient effect going to be "Uncontrollable Vomiting"? :P

Oh god, as someone whose family routinely serves Lutefisk during the holiday season, I don't want to be subjected to it in my videogames too. x_x

Is there a purpose to this thread or are you spamming?

Posting a idea if someone wants to make it. Besides Lutefisk fits in with the theme of the game.

Ack, apologies. I misunderstood. For future reference, if you are asking for a small easy thing, starting the thread title with [REQ] marks it as a request, and some people actually do respond with the requested mod on occasion.

I don't have the setup to do it myself, but http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1286593-tutorial-making-new-smithing-recipes-pre-ck/ is a tutorial on how to put new crafting recipes in the game; it should work for cooking too.

Lutefisk recipe
1. Take a fish.
2. Turn fish into soap.
3. When people don't want your fish-scented soap, advertise it as food.
4. Profit?

LOL!!!

When I actually looked up the recipe (Thanks to Betty White), I was pretty scared and appalled at the same time that people would even consider this a good idea to eat in the first place.
What's more troubling is exactly HOW Lutefisk came about.
This recipe had to have been based on a dare, or a complete accident.

Who would think that soaking Fish in Lye was a good idea?

Lutefisk is an example of a food that poor people used to eat, and now all good Scandinavians remember the "good ol' days" when they ate Lutefisk, and now even though they're not poor they still eat it.
