Ideas for future patches (free content)

Rules/Guidlines
1: Keep it small, don't go saying "We should get dawnguard for free". that's just [censored]
2: "Small" refers to things with roughly the same amount of content as mounted combat or horse armor
3: I realize 90% of the things people will post on here can be done with mods, this thread is about people who don't have access to mods. (ps3/x-box)

Scabbards for dual wielding swords, maybe on our back. And scabbards for great swords. What I really want is for companions to be able to ride on my horse with me or at least ride their own.

I would like to see the dragon souls for perks, follower item favoriting, training your followers, an option to have all followers essential, a way to keep Paax alive and join the blades, and more DB/Blades members, added to the console versions.

Besides bug fixes? I'd probably say things like:
  • Disabling random vampire attacks until after the Dawnguard questline begins at a minimum, preferably get rid of them altogether.
  • Change a few NPC's that are in the game that cannot be married to be marriage options.
  • Get rid of the Essential status for Camp Commanders after the conclusion of the Civil War.
  • Reintroduce underwater combat again, may not be possible through a patch but if it is, it should be done.
  • Remove the stupid dialogue that guards say about fetching mead for the Companions when your the Leader of them etc
Just a few ideas.

I like the marriage and the essential status on commanders options.

I know what you mean about the marriage options
If the person doesnt have to die they should be a potential spouse
My Dunmer assassin really wants to marry Illia

The essential status annoys the hell out of me when I'm playing my Dragonborn character who hates Imperials. I cant kill every last one of them that I see, some of them defy death!

I also know what you mean Play2Win, I have a character that wants to be able to marry a few NPC's that are unavailable for marriage, for what seems like no reason what so ever.

Another idea:
  • Ability to make anyone a steward in Hearthfire, I want to make a Khajit my Steward! (No Khajit or Argonian can be made a Steward, Why?!?!
  • Faction armour - what I mean is that if you enter a Stormcloak held city wearing Imperial armour you will be attacked or shunned and viceversa. May be a bit too much for a simple patch but if possible this would be an awesome feature, if not then its a good idea for a DLC.

Our characters are smarter than us. They know they like to steal stuff.

1. Being able to put my shield on my back when I'm not using it.
2. Categorize inventory stored in chests (weapons, apparel, potions, etc.)
3. Ability to name my potions and poison like naming enchantments.
4. Ability to name a Khajiit my house steward, marry a khajiit, and adopt khajiit cubs.
5. The boats and carriages should let you actually ride along and enjoy the scenery, not just pay 50 septims to fast travel. I think of the taxi cabs in GTA 4.
