Illia and the Darklight Tower Glitch

This is regarding this quest --> http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Repentance

Probably not just a PS3 glitch, but I looked around and didn't see a generic bug report.

If you use your horses awesome gravity defying powers to climb the mountains you can make it to the top of Darklight Tower. If you do this BEFORE actually discovering it and initiating the Repentance quest, you can kill the Hagraven and Illia's mother at the top and effectively break this quest.

I worked my way halfway down the tower until I reached the iron bars that need to be opened with a switch (by going up the tower the right way). Once I reached that point I turned around to go back up and, without ever having seen or spoken to Illia, she was waiting right outside the door wanting me to help her kill her mother. This was halfway up the tower and not anywhere near the first floor front door where she's supposed to be.

Going back up, just before the final door that leads outside, she spoke to me again and the Repentance quest started. When we walked outside, Illia began talking to her mother for her scripted event, but her mother wasn't there because she was already dead. In fact, no one was around and it just looked like this crazy person talking to herself.

I sat in the chair that lit up as a compass marker and at that moment Illia became a regular NPC who just wanders around. I can't make her a follower and the quest is still in my quest log, Incomplete. There's a compass marker where her mother should be (or rather, was, before I wrecked her day), but there's nothing there.
