I made a thread in general discussion because I had no idea this section existed (wasnt really paying attention to the forum, since I was playing Skyrim). So I decided to post here, also because in General nobody really paid attention to the thread. If this is somehow not permitted, mods please feel free to delete my thread in General Discussion and leave this one open.

So I was playing, leveling up to defeat a draugr at Yngol Barrow. Got a hold of a very powerful artifact that would do the trick. My character is not a magic user, but since the artifact was won with much pain, what the heck, my Nord barbarian will use it if need be.

So I got a follower and headed to Yngol Barrow once again...but when I go in, everything goes black, except for very blurry lighting along the icy caverns. I cant bring up the menu; I press start and I cant load, only save, and I cant move the cursor past Settings towards objectives or anything like that. I try to go out the cave...and the screen goes black and when the image comes again, Im still in the cave all dark and blurry. I try to go out a few times more, and I finally come out to the world, and eveything works normally again.

I tried reloading, restarting the Xbox, ect, and nothing. It still happens.

I dont know if its relevant, but the little blue orbs along the barrow go to me when I enter and thats when it happens.

Anybody has encountered this problem? I tried googling but I have been unlucky.

Anyone has had this happen? Its really impeding my progress. I just cant do Yngol Barrow. (I bumped following the rules, just in case)

i have a different issue with that place, without trying to mention any spoilers lets just say i get the wrong monster spawn at the end. i just reloaded my save from before i entered and walked away, hope this is fixed.

Wow. I dont know if the problem is this Barrow itself. I havent been able to do some experimenting. Sadly I have no save file before I first went in to the barrow. I may clear the cache and reboot and try again. If it doesnt work, I'll try going to it for the first time with another character and see what happens.

Confirmed: I cleared the cache, reinstalled patch, and Yngol Barrow is normal again

I have exactly the same issue, but on PC, so, not sure how I can "clear the cache"... heh
