Looking at all existing weather-related (rain and snow) ImageSpaces, the Distance is always 0, which makes sense as you wouldn't want a magic area around the player where it wasn't raining.
The one exception is the rain related to the storm call shout, which has a Distance of 2000. In-game this VERY rarely works, where it will not be raining directly around the player, but most of the time it glitches and goes back to 0, or never clears around the player at all.
So in my testing I tried setting ALL weather related ImageSpace Distance values to 2000, and the game appears to ignore this setting completely, which is to me an incredible disappointment.
It is as if Bethesda started to work on the feature, then figured eh, screw it, that would take too much work to ever come back to. Yet they still leave it in the CK, which just seems tacky!
So, maybe I'm just missing something? Some secondary setting that also needs changing to get this to work right?
Has anyone else tried to use this and been frustrated by it being completely useless?
