Imagine FALLOUT 4 the MMO!

Post » Mon Aug 10, 2009 8:19 am

It would be awesome if the next Fallout was an MMO. Imagine a world like Fallout 3 with millions of people and story lines etc. It would be the biggest and best MMO out there in my opinion.

Bethesda's reputation for over all awesome games demands they take on the MMO market.

I'm sorry, but that's a horrible idea. Fallout 4 should not be an MMO.

No game in the Fallout or TES series should be a MMO, or even have mutliplayer. It would kill off a huge part of the atmosphere of the games.

Edit: The TES team only works on single player games. Anything related to multiplayer would be worked on by Zenimax Online(?).

RPMMO Fallout 4 with mods allowed. Just my opinion. If anyone can take on the RPMMO market they can. .. And since it would require people to subscribe and pay every month I bet they or one of their sister companies is already working on it.

A split-screen version could be fun.

An MMO would be horrible. TES and FO should remain as they are. If Bethesda was to make an MMO I'd probably play it as long as it wasnt related to TES or FO.

How? All of the TES series and Fallout 3 are single player. Bethesda, or more specifically the TES team, has no MMO experience. Bethesda makes great single player RPGs, and that is one of the reasons why I love Bethesda games.

TES and Fallout series should stay away from any form of multiplayer, whether it by a MMO or co-op, or whatever.

It wouldn't fit the game. 1000 LONE Wanderers roaming through the wasteland just seems weird. The wasteland is meant to be a place of loneliness, not meeting a group of people in Power Armour with Alien Blasters every 4 seconds.

Fallout MMO is an awful idea. Let it go down with Herve Caen.

Exactly what I meant when I said it would kill the atmosphere of the game. Plus, I don't want to hear "KILL DA SUPER MUTANTS NAO YOU NUB" every five seconds.

I think any Fallout MMO game should be separated from the main series. Make it a spin-off like Tactics or Brotherhood of Steel.

An MMO isn't that bad of an idea.
An MMO with the FPS/RPG gameplay from FO3 is a bad idea.
And I agree with Ovaltine Patrol, it shoulden't be considered cannon (story wise).
