I don't read books and I have no idea who he is.

If anyone here unlocked the key to immortality would you share such knowledge with the world?

Dear god sir.

He is one of the most famous authors of all time, and wrote 1984, a book about a dysotopian future where the government controls the working classes.

And books are arguably the best form of media.

Wonderful book. Makes me depressed, but an amazing piece of literature.

I personally don't care for immortality and I find the idea of seeking it stupid. If you don't find the key then you will have wasted your life pursuing the impossible instead of living it. Chances are also that people after many years would go crazy and commit suicide, I don't think finding immortality would cause anything but disaster. And it would probably be an expensive procedure, this means that the rich bastards on top would be the only ones with access to this great discovery.
So in the end I don't think the average man would benefit from it, neither do I think it would help solve any of the problems in the world.

I don't have the time, patience or attitude to read books, he'll I bought all the game of thrones books and I'm not even at page 100 andbive had then since June. Books really aren't my thing.

I don't see immortality as a good thing on a wide scale. One or two dozen people maybe
