I wish they would have implemented "real" spears into Skyrim Dragon Born. The could have been added two ways:
1. A player can go to a forge and with a broom stick, stick/log (new object), or fire wood with forging materials, to make a spear.
2. Simular to the enhanced cross bow, take a one-hand sword, axe, or mace with broom stick, stick/log (new object), or fire wood, with aditional forging materials, and make a Spear, Poleaxe, or mace-ended-staff.

A spear could also have a two handed weapon version (just called spear or pike) or a one handed version (Javelin). So players can play "300" or "Red Cliff" style.
