I must say I'm impressed with the latest patch to a degree but at what losses I don't really know

I love the thieves guild quest and have done numerous times but have always encountered major lag in Irkngthand and had to save and restart once or twice to finish it because of major crippling lag; however I started a new character after the latest patch and low and behold it ran perfectly in the location where I normally encountered lag and I had no problems running through the entire dungeon.

Kudos to Bethesda for those 'general optimizations to gameplay and playability'. Works great now!

However I have other issues that constantly arise now and find myself restarting from a previous save to avoid possible corrupted files due to severe pauses in quest updates,etc.. - to the point I have even gotten numerous quests from delvin because I waited and waited for quest to pop up and clicked on him again. Had to reload earlier save to fix. Delvin can only have one quest or you will be stuck with an unfinished quest which I hate.

Plus my hands seem fuzzy more often than not now and that was not like that before patch

So - I ask at what cost is it taking to get things to run smoothly

I guess it is worth it - to an extent
