the latest changelog for the latest patch says:
*Improved performance for SLI cards when GPU transcode is enabled.

Every users noticed an incredible framerate drop if sli is enabled and every sli users seens the gpu transcoding option disappear from the game option menu.

What does it means?

As far as I understood no one with an nvidia SLI is able to run rage using two cards.
If SLI is enabled manually from drivers performance drops instead of improving, so what's the point of this patch when they talks about SLI?

The best thing we can hope for is a fix in the next patch for the game to officially support (AND WORK) with sli. Nvidia will probably working with them for a driver update improving Sli performance and optimizations.

For now though, Sli support is non-existant. Very frustrating.

In any case I would like to understand why they wrote this:

in the patch's changelog when SLI doesn't work at all.

There used to be a performance drop if you enabled GPU transcoding on an SLI graphics card configuration. Even though we don't support SLI at this time and you do not gain any performance when you have such a configuration, we made sure you don't lose performance when you enable GPU transcoding.
