So my mother is just about as impulsive as people get, and when she saw a cheap (relative to our economy) tablet PC in stores she just had to go buy it quickly. Now on the box it simply says the tablet is called "UNITED Tablet PC" and in the bottom right corner it reads "Model No: TAB1012". http://i.imgur.com/lDj0z.jpg of the "Basic Function" page in the manual that by the way is rife with grammatical errors, one of my favorite lines being right at the start of the manual "Pls make sure to reading the manual carefully before use the device."

Now the tablet is having problems with connection. Even just sitting near the router in the house after having connected to it the connection is just so shoddy and bad (I manage to connect and I can browse the net but it will take ages to load something and often the device will disconnect and re-connect itself). Now I know it's not the router as I'm even on my laptop now which is connected to the router and is considerably further away from it than the tablet PC usually is. And there have been other devices that have connected to it just fine. But I'm not all that hot on tablet PC's and I'm not exactly the smartest person around when it comes to technology, so I've come here asking for your wisdom and guidance. Is there something specific about said tablet PC that I may just have done wrong in connecting to the router that is making the connection perform so badly. Is this just some dodgy technology sold to us through a store not caring if they are selling cheap knock offs made in places of ill repute. Or perhaps the device has just been damaged and is performing inadequately because of that.

I thought I'd at least check with you guys before paying someone more knowledgeable to take a closer look at it. (Oh and to clarify I didn't seek out the community tech tread as the last 3 problems I have had have gone unanswered there. That thread just doesn't get as much traffic as a new thread or at least there is some reason some problems just tend to get lost in a flow of other questions before they have a chance to get answered. Also this question is partially about the validity of a business but not purely about the technical aspect of the device.)
