Increased arrow range?

This really bothers me. For some reason arrows magically disapear or atleast suddenly take a straight nose dive after flying a certain distance in the game. This means that, with actor fade at max I can see enemies that I cannot hit and this frustrates me to no end. As a master archer I should easily be able to shoot these distances. Now I've found one mod on steam that claims to have increased arrow range, but apparently there's an issue where the arrows wont actually deal damage beyond the vanilla range.
So I'm wondering, have any of you come across a mod that actually works by increasing arrow range, or do you know how to do it?

In your Skyrim.ini file, under [Actor], edit the line:

fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=

a value like 12288.0000 is fine, though personally I use 16384.0000.

So it should look like this:

[Actor]
fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=16384.0000

There's a simple .ini change that does this.
Look at the bottom of this page:

the "fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=" line wasn't already in my skyrim ini, so I just added it, I assume that's fine?. In any case, thanks guys, so happy there's actually a fix for this
