Ok, so I'm on my second play-through of Rage (Anarchy Edition) and I wanted to try the infinite money trick you can do with the comet flower right by the ghost hideout I've heard so much about. Does the flower only appear after a certain point or a certain quest? I'm at the point where I'm about to go do the Wasted Garage to get the parts for my buggy and I'd really like to get this figured out before I do it so I can max out all my stuff to make it easier. At the point I'm at in the game, no matter where I look (including looking at youtube videos for the exact location of it) I can't find the Comet Flower. Would anyone like to clue me in? Did they fix the glitch in anarchy edition?

This is no glitch. There are several places in the wasteland where you can find the comet flowers. If you pick one up, it just grows again after a certain period/progress in the game and can be picked up again.

The one at the Ghost hideout is on the right about 10 meters away from the bridge when looking at the ghost hideout entrance on the ground next to the path.
If it has been picked up or hasn't grown yet, the plant looks like a cactus. If you don't see any comet flower there, just progress in the game and get back later.
