I have a great idea with ingame mail.

Mostly, ingame mail is the same.. you check the mailbox in a city.

Some mmo's are lazy like PotBS which just have a key you press to read the mail "o". Starwars galaxies at least had a key combination "ctrl+e"

But what if they introduce a new system. Something that fits with the lore. Something Harry Potter has but without the owls.

Yes, i know what you are saying. We can do what Harry Potter does but with Cliff Racers.

BUT we can also use the Oblivion courier which rides around with a horse delivering messages. There is of course a small delay before you get mail as they won't enter dungeons or swim. They will only travel to big cities and if you are not there you are out of luck. Of course there could be somesort of deposit box where they could drop the mail.

Reading the mail should be just like the books in TES games. Click on it and read it like the books/notes.
