Inheritance Anyone?

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 12:20 am

So I picked up Inheritance today on my way dropping my sister off at the Dentist. Just got home and I started reading it, I planned to read this and by the time I finished it would be thursday night and I can go pick up Skyrim, or either sleep and get it in the morning. I'm 50 pages in and so far I just want to play Skyrim more!!! Maybe its the epic dragon battle scenes or something, otoh the book is good so far.

ANYWAY my point is, who here is also reading/will be getting this book?

Sounds like a fun thing to do to pass the time. I'd like to get my hands on the book, but with a busy education and lack of money, it might be difficult. That and I might have a hard time reading it if it reminds me as much of Skyrim as you say it does for you.

LOl, yer I was reading it while she was at the dentist ^^
Its the fourth and final book in the Inheritance qaudrilogy, the first was Eragon, but don;t judge it by the film Eragon as that was so bad as to be insulting.

Just the dragon fight made me think of being able to fight dragons in skyrim, which then made me think of skyrim and how awesome its going to be! xD

I enjoy the books (though it is generally against my better judgement to admit that) and I will be happily reading Inheritance when I'm done with Game of Thrones. I could use a light read about now. I'm reading so many non-fiction texts and essays that I barely have any time for Game of Thrones. ... Plenty of time for Skyrim though >_>

Ohh. You mean the Inheritance Cycle. Okay...yeah...

It's pretty good...though it bears such a striking resemblance to another narrative it almost ruins it for me...

@ Guy above me. Yes. I love Game of Thrones...such a good series...

Yes, he is referring to the Inheritance cycle, but also the newest book, Inheritence, that is finishing the series off that came out just today I believe.
