It's a new fighting game that pits the entire Justice League against itself. The story goes like this.
The Joker did the ultimate evil to one of the Justice league members naming Superman by euthanasing Krypo Superman's dog, using Supe's Tivo to record every episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, crank calling, hiding the tv remote but most of all nuking Metroplis and killing Lois Lane and Superman's unborn child. This causes Superman to snap who in turn kills the Joker and creates a totalitarianism regime (Jur-El be praised)---and Superman still can't find the tv remote which adds fuel to the fire. So basicly Superman's the bad guy in this game.
This looks like a great game I've downloaded the demo on XBL and I might try to get my hands on the comic book of the same name. So what are you're opionions on this game.

Typo in the title made me think this was related to religion(God instead of Gods). Perhaps ask a mod to fix it?

Well that sounds, silly, plot-wise, this must be a comedy game, right?

Just like pretty much any action/fighting game, the background story is just an excuse for the fighting. Expecting a coherent story for something like this is a bit silly.

Yea, but this is downright 110% silly, If they play this with a straight face and DON'T go for the comedic gold this offers I'm going to give them a failing grade in serious business school and the school of funny laughs.

Only part of my post that has any meaning to the actual story was the Joker nuking Metropolis and the killing of Lois Lane and Superman becoming evil---the rest was made up.

Like how they slapped the Joker on there all in the middle as the focal point.

Its like Mortal Kombat with DC chars.

This, saw a demo of it at Insomnia 48. Game play looks fun as a sort of party game thing but it gets a little meh once you've seen all the unique moves and such and you realise it's pretty much any other fighting game.

Mortal Kombat and DC----there's actually a game called MK vs DC Universe and it's probably one of those MK games that needs to be forgotten...I know some of the Fatalities in that game svcked.

After playing the demo the game felt more like Street Fighter X Tekken or rather a Street Fighter game as there's no Fatalities in this game but there are super moves that are like the super moves in Street Fighter X Tekken.
