I am thinking of doing a kind of Inquisitor/Knight hybrid. Now before you criticize me let me put things in perspective:

The setting of the "story": Wayrest

The event: the character is a member of an imperial cult sanctioned rebellion seeking to aid the peasants against the nobility of the city, arming them and training them in battle.

The hero: A member of one of the Noble families turned Inquisitor, a member of the "secret" police force of the church of the divines, who turns against his/her fellow inquisitors when they attack his family. Being a novice in the ways of war, he/she only injures his/her fellow novice and then runs away, meeting up with his/her sister and they flee Wayrest. Partway the pair split up, the sister heading to what used to be/is Orsinium, and the Character ending up in Cyrodil, where he/she decides to head back north, to Skyrim, where the game begins.

any advice would be appreciated.

It's good. I recommend battle-maging it, seeing as you seem to be a Breton.

I am certain breton are not the only race in High rock but I understand.

That, and the Nobility would be breton mostly. But I pan to be more melee than mage, so...
