I was always a fan of id games since Wolf3D, but RAGE indeed causes only RAGE so far. And I haven't played a minute of the game yet.

1. All the months I visited rage.com and there was no Steam label ever to be found. I would never have preorder the Game if I'd knew before I need this crap as well
2. Put the DVD in, started the Setup and once the Steam crap is on my hardrrive it refuses to do anything from the DVD but downloads the whole freaking Game. What the Hell???
3. I don't mind activation of an product, but being forced to use 3rd party non-sense isn't the way to go!

Once played through this thing will end as a trade-in in Gamestop and mark the last game bought from id - Job well done.

Thanks for the effort, but a) this isn't usability at all, but plain wrong from my POV and no need for a guide, Steam will be off the hard drive once I'm through the game.
