Installing Daggerfall Issue

Post » Sat Oct 08, 2011 6:14 am

Howdy folks,
I've installed Daggerfall, configured the sound, get all ready to go, but: I'm still getting the "Causeway error 01: Unable to re-size program memory block" error, which is probably because I haven't edited the .config to have the appropriate 'memsize'. For various reasons, I cannot edit the DosBox config file in the text editor, so I want to edit the memory settings 'during runtime' as http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/CONFIG using some

-set "section property=value"

command. But I really don't know what I'm doing. I'm on Ubuntu 11.04, using the DosBox emulator (I hope that this is 'legal'), so, for some reason I cannot find the config file to edit; I've done every other step of the installation.

Help please?
