This isn't about textures but I have an older system and I generally install all of my games because I find that my system is too dang loud when it plays off of the disk. So I installed Skyrim which is like 3.8 gigs on the 360 and I noticed that when it plays it doesnt play off the HD it plays off the disk because its still noisy as hell..

is this another bug??? I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but the file size is still the same and it still only plays off the disk... Man I was so jacked for this game but boy has my excitement for this game been utterly killed but the hideous fun kill tech bugs. I know bethesta games are buggy but man texture, screen size and now HD installing problems.. I'm glad I decided to redbox this game before opening my sealed copy.. I think it will be going back to the store in the next few days unless I hear something positive from the devs.

I looked at the download size and am surprised that the file is so small. Most of the games on my HD are between 4.2-7 gigs or so..

I noticed it does still play off the disc as well. BUT, it eventually dies down and stops and makes no noise.

It EXTREMELY helps with load times, holy crap. I took it off my HDD to see if it would fix textures (didn't). And it took FOREVER.

Re-installed it and just gotta deal with it til they fix it.
