Lol I can see the funny side of that but imagine that happening, you have autosaves enabled, and you don't do the manual routine for whatever reason.
Talk about being stuffed.
I suspect this is why auto-save on fast travel is before you leave rather than on arrival.
It's also why Skyrim has three auto-save slots instead of just one, the number of times I walked through a door on Oblivion or Fallout only to be killed as soon as the area loaded is too depressing to count. Thankfully we have more slots and I'm yet to encounter a single enemy lying in wait immediately after a transition in Skyrim, the only time I've gone through a transition and immediately into combat has been when I've unintentionally lured enemies I was fleeing from there - Bethesda still needs to get the hang of balancing, every new game still has this first few hours weaker than wolves before suddenly becoming an unkillable god thing going on.
