G;day all, new to the forum but finally got so... aggrivated with my ridiculous lag in skyrim I decided to post and see if anyone has come up with a fix or even an improvement (Like bethasda should have done in the very first patch).

My system: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 build 7600

Gigabyte GTX 560Ti super overclock edition latest drivers.

Intel i5 760 2.8 ghz quad core @ 3.0 ghz

Gigabyte mobo (can't remember the chipset and regardless its almost definitely not the issue).

The thing is, it runs at capped 60 fps in all areas on ultra settings but it just gets these random and monstrous lag spikes where it plummets to 4-15 fps. Its completely unplayable. I've also got dawnguard and the latest patch. I'm in Bleak falls barrow at the moment (I started a new game) and it is TERRIBLE! I move my mouse, LAG. I walk forward LAG. I loot a corpse LAG. In a desperate attempt to help out my new area lag (Which also has no justification for happening in a game that has been out for over a year) I dropped my AA back to 2 sample. That just about canned it but it still happens in polygon intensive areas, but MUCH MUCH less.

To Bethesda softworks: This game has been out for over a year now. In that time steam users and piraters alike have been complaining incessently about the attrocious port job you made of skyrim. You have ignored and ignored and ignored, this game lags its nuts off on the most hardcoe of systems and it is downright insulting. Every single bug I originally experienced with my game is still there and your patches actually added more then they fixed. Your lack of care, your money centric attitude and almost non existant bug fixing is EXACTLY what drives people to pirate games.
