you can put in a dedicated GPU to take over the job rather than using the integrated chip, but you can't replace the integrated chip without replacing the mobo.

Unless we're talking about a laptop here. Pretty much no upgrade options there then.

Upgrading/replacing a CPU could also change the integrated GPU.
