Interested in doing some voice acting.

Hey,

Since being fourteen years old, I've had quite a deep voice which has lead to a countless number of people telling me (in addition to endless comments that I sound like Duke Nukem or Christian Bale) I should turn it into a career of some kind. Or at least get it heard and let things develop on their own from there. So here I am, starting off small in addition to doing it for something I enjoy.

My current recording gear consists of a MXL 990 Condenser mic and an M-Audio Fast Track II recording interface; I also have a small box lined with noise suppressing foam. Should the recording need some audio editing, I have enough knowledge of Audacity to kill any humming or background noises that make it into my "studio".

I have no issue with lengthy or ridiculously short projects. I do not mind saying embarassing things (ie marriageable NPCs or followers) or yelling so loud that my neighbours need to ensure I'm not being stabbed repeatedly in my liver. Suffice to say that I have no consience.

Two things to note. The first: I have Pathological Apathy IRL. This means that I am bereft of many emotions that a person would normally have. I don't anticipate this having a great deal of impact on voice acting, but if it does, then undertakings such as this should help me at least simulate those emotions. The second: I have absolutely no formal training or education in this field other than my life experiences and my incredibly inappropriate wit. This is as much a learning experience for me as it is my offering services to people making Skyrim mods.

I did some samples for a guy over on the Nexus forums. These I will present here too. If you'd like me to do additional samples or speak to me using Skype or Vent or anything, I am happy to oblige.

PS: I have a light English accent on account of being Australian.
