so as we all know one of the more common complaints about skyrim is how certain quest items will get stuck in your inventory and will be unremovable


so i had an interesting idea what could be done with these items, for PC users its as simple as clicking a few buttons on the console, us console players are SOL. thats where my idea comes in:

A Pawn Shop or An Antique Dealer, basically we need an NPC that will buy these items from us (for a reasonable price, it shouldnt be something for people to make alot of money from) and will keep them indefinitely until we are ready to buy them back. basically a merchant with an inventory that never resets and will buy items marked "quest." this would allow us to get rid of items clogging up our inventory but not risk breaking the associated quests since we could just buy the item back when we feel like completing that quest, or not if we are finished with the quest but stuck with an item leftover that we cant get rid of

i know this is just a wild idea, i dont really know [censored] about [censored] when it comes to the tech side of things or how hard this would be to implement, its just a fun idea i had last night while going through my inventory =p

I think it's a great idea.
