...after all these hours.

I was walking from Falkreath to Markarth, a trip I've made countless times before. I got sidetracked by some dueling mages. I was in the middle of the pine forests, around mid day. The sun was beaming through the tree branches. I stumbled upon an odd circle of white cap mushrooms. Within the circle, there was a bloody skull, a staff of sparks, a copy of Father of the Niben (archery skill book), and a single glass arrow. Right next to it was a shrine of Akotosh that overlooked the forest.

Quite a mysterious find. It was a peaceful yet foreboding scene. I wonder what the story behind it could be.

I believe the book and staff respawn.

Perhaps it once was a place of worship, likely used by some necromancer or clumsy magician. Maybe the book says something about it?
