Interesting ThoughtQuandary.

Been getting to me for a week or so, just thought I'd share.
It seems I am more immersed in the idea, of Skyrim, rather than the game-play itself. To clarify, I can sit here lurking the board for hours, reading all about other's adventures etc. Doing this will then naturally compel me to pick up the controller and play, but I can't seem to put a good 3+ hour shift in as I used to do with Oblivion (8+ hours a sitting a lot!) and really get into the game, as if what I read and view about Skyrim, doesn't translate in-game. This isn't a complaint or slight on Skyrim, but I feel as though reading and learning about the game is interesting me more than physically playing the game. I'm not sure if it is because I am overwhelmed with the plethora of options in this game, or if I'm simply more in love with the idea of the game, than actually playing. Anybody else experiencing this same sort of feeling? :ermm: No? Ok..... :bolt:

I have absolutely no idea what You are accusing Us of doing :teehee:
I am the same way depending on where my character I am playing is at in the game. I do not like replaying a quest I just finished a few days ago on a different character. I will avoid a long quest if I am on break at Work, and I end up here on the Forums.
Setting up characters for what I believed to be a mid December release of Dragonborn has burned me out of actually playing (again).
EDIT replaced ! with :teehee:

lol, no accusations. Yeahh I have made about 4 new characters in the last 2 weeks or so in an effort to immerse myself. Maybe I need to set up some proper roleplaying, give my character a background, motive etc.

I have been spending time going through Saved Games and replaying them, Hopefully reading other peoples ideas and adventures can inspire You to make a character that does keep the game interesting.
